One of the best 'blogs' (I hate that word) I've come across linked to a lot of reference material. Not news, everyone get's in or around the same news, but PowerPoints, Tutotials, PDF's on PR / Marketing / Business. People love downloading resources. 

To kick off ... why not do a 1 paragraph summary of your favourite changethis.com manifesto and link to the file.
