Some <sarcasm> startling </sarcasm> survey results and observations have come in the last week. Low and behold, marketers and journalists read blogs.

Well no duh! Of course they do, whether they weight them heavily in comparison to other forms of communication is another matter. However, anyone from either profession that would actually say that they would point-blank refuse to read blogs should be shot.

It’s their bread and butter to be listening to what people are saying. Wow, so some survey says they’re reading them now, so what!? My interest will perk if results come out to say that they’re participating in online conversations.
