How to use the iPod to position your brand
Published June 28th, 2005 in GeneralI’ve pointed out the fact before that numerous organisations are using iPods as a dangling carrot. Some people have highlighted that offering such a popular product doesn’t necessarily rub off on your brand though. For example, I was in my local convenience store today and I noticed another competition to win iPods. While I remember the offer, I can’t remember which brand was behind it.
However I came across this post on Gizmodo about a Tic-Tac iPod Shuffle case. Now there’s a great way to associate your brand with an innovative product rather than simply give away prizes. You are also sticking with the theme of creativity which forms a direct link between your product and Apple’s golden child.
