South Dublin County Council start using RSS

I was pleasantly surprised to see that South Dublin County Council are turning to RSS as a means of distributing their news (apparently Leitrim County Council are also using the tool.)
The really exciting thing about South Dublin County Council using RSS is the fact that they’re breaking down the RSS into categories. Sometime in the future they’ll have a job opportunities and a weekly planning lists feed. However is advising them about their web strategy is onto a winner there, espeicially the weekly planning lists feed if the amount of NIMBYs in Ireland is anything to go by.
As RSS takes off and becomes known as webfeeds thanks to Microsoft (far better name than RSS btw), we’ll end up with job feeds, holiday package feeds, entertainment listings feeds, etc. This RSS/webfeed fan can’t wait ![]()
