There’s less than two weeks until Ireland’s inaugural geek dinner with Robert Scoble, which is scheduled to take place after IT@Cork’s seventh annual Technology and Business conference. Apparently there are places still left at the conference which is a bit of a shocker considering the calibre of speakers at the event.
For the non-techies, management guru, Charles Handy, will be appearing. On the tech front, sessions include ‘Driving the next generation of Irish IT businesses’ and ‘Issues for IT managers’. I’d be there for the keynote speakers alone, but if I were in IT this would be a must-attend event.
How is it that the Rebel county have shown us up again!? I guess we have Tom Raftery to blame for that

thanks for the plug for the conference. it is true that there are a couple of places left for the conference - but that’s not too surprising for us - we are only two weeks from the conference and we have only a few places left - these will easily be filled in the next two weeks - especially, as you note, given the calibre of the speakers.
