Irish Public Relations directory
Published November 30th, 2005 in PR in IrelandThe possession of knowledge does not kill the sense of wonder and mystery. There is always more mystery - Anais Nin
I forgot to mention that I signed up to James Corbett’s OPML directory and became the node manager for Public Relations. Over the weekend I compiled a list of Irish Public Relations Consultancies, representative bodies, bloggers (all two of us!) and courses.
It is 2005 and there are people out there calling for PR consultancies to embrace blogging and the encroaching era of Social Media. Ireland’s answer to that is that there are a couple of high profile firms with no website! No website in 2005!? A communications company that doesn’t communicate online…<sarcasm> smart </sarcasm> Are they still renting videos from Xtravision also?

Piaras,
You’re doing a great job here! Keep it up.
Just to let you know I’ve been talking to a couple of well established practitioners recently who are thinking of starting blogs.
It’s a great illustration (IMHO) that PR people are understanding and embracing blogs faster than any previous technology. The adoption will take time, but it’s happening!
Trust you’re well
Tom
That sounds interesting - 2006 the year of the Irish PR blogger?
