Great online customer service

I signed up for a ShoZu account the other day because I’m after buying a Nokia N70 (expect some sort of review early next week). I haven’t activated it on my phone yet because I think I may just bluetooth any pictures or videos I want to put onto the Internet from my handset to my laptop instead.

All the same, I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email from the ShoZu technical support team at the end of the week. The email noted the fact that I hadn’t activated the application on my phone and enquired whether I needed any assistance.

It’s a really nice touch from Shozu and a clever customer service strategy given that there is a degree of complication to installing similar applications. If it’s easier to set up the service on your phone, then the more people you’ll have using it and talking about it. Three guesses as to whether ShoZu succeeds or not ;)

That would help wouldn’t it? It’s a way of uploading photos from your phone to your Flickr account and tagging them, etc.

It also allows you to upload videos, see comments from your photos, has a contacts address book sync and makes send to email easy. neat stuff! :)
