Always remember the little man
Published April 13th, 2006 in GeneralLaunches are always high-tempo and tense affairs to work on. They eat up a lot of your time which is difficult from an agency perspective as you always have other clients to cater for also. The launch itself can be quite stressful because no matter how much preparation that goes in, something always goes wrong. That’s why it’s always worth remembering the little man.
The little man could be the hotel concierge, your photographer or somebody simply lending you a favour. Always, always be polite and remember to thank them - tipping where possible! The key to being rolling out launches successfully on an ongoing basis is having a list of contacts of tried and trusted service providers, as well as being on good terms with the people you will be working with on the day.
