Is Eddie Hobbs starting to look like the Count from Sesame Street?
Published June 2nd, 2007 in PersonalI can’t claim credit for this, but one of the guys at work pointed out that Eddie Hobbs seems to be styling himself on Count Von Count from Sesame Street if the recent issues of Hobbs’ ‘You & Your Money’ magazine are anything to go by. A number of journalists have been eager to point out the number of times that Hobbs appears in his own magazine, the current record apparently stands at fourteen in a single issue. For readers unfamiliar with Eddie Hobbs, check out his Wikipedia page. Look at the images below to see if you spot the resemblance.

Yeah, that magazine kind of creeps me out a little. I know it’s his magazine, or he’s a central part of it, but it really should be called “The Eddie Hobbs Fanzine” or something.
His face on the cover is really a crowd puller tho… I was the smaller Eason outlet in Heuston looking at the business and current affairs mags recently when this old gray-hared woman goes from standing beside me to bursting forward past me, she practically leaped at the mag and grab it when - apparently - she saw Hobbs’ face on the cover.
