Simple answer - I'm still on season four of the Sopranos. Only thoughts would be that it's a reflection of how intelligent that TV shows like the Sopranos or The Wire have begun that criminals are watching them to outthink the police. An example of which is the announcement by the Irish Government that they want to register Pay As You Go phones in a bid to target the drugs trade. Season Three of The Wire which aired a couple of years ago is humourous to watch in this regard. One detective brags to his colleagues that “If they're [criminals] still using cell phones in this day and age, they're mine.” As the season progresses it becomes clear that criminals cell phone use has become so evolved that it is near on impossible to catch them on phones as they switch quickly between SIM cards, etc.
