Piaras,

Thanks for letting people know about my group, the 121 Marketing Network Ireland! All marketing professionals are invited to join the group on LinkedIn and we also have a presence on Facebook and Twitter (http://twitter.com/121Marketing)

We meet on the first Wednesday of every month from 6pm-late for a social networking event. It's called the "First Wednesday Club" and for details on the location etc please check out: http://www.facebook.com/pages/First-Wednesday-Club-121-Marketing-Network-Ireland/117828065262

In February, we will be running a competition exclusively for 121 LinkedIn members. The objective of this competition is to give 121 marketers the opportunity to showcase their marketing skills and their creativity. It will be assessed by a panel of leading Irish marketers & a few mystery guest judges.

The competition is kindly sponsored by Connect Promotions, www.connectpro.ie and the 4**** Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa in Co. Meath, www.dunboynecastlehotel.com

If you are not a member of this Linked In group already, please feel free to join so that you are eligible to participate in this competition. We will be giving away lots of prizes and a free holiday!

I'm looking forward to welcoming you to the group and meeting you @ The First Wednesday Club.

Kind regards,

Karina

Thank you for mentioning PR Ireland Piaras.

I'll be posting and messaging members later but for anyone joining or reading Piaras's post it is very important to the success of the group that new members comment on the thread entitled "What do people want this forum to achieve for them?" so that any activities of the group reflect the desires of its membership.

This group is a tremendous opportunity and I have already brought some real world capital in the form of a venue and possible sponsorship of an event associated with the group to encourage it as a credible networking and idea exchange for professionals.

See you on Linkedin.
