The Cleraun Media Forum returns this month on 22 February. The topic for the next event is media and privacy, which should prove to be a popular topic. Speakers include:

Philip Gallagher is a producer with TV3, whose most recent documentary “Remembering Stardust: 30 Years On” was transmitted on 31 January 2011. He also produced the TV3 series “Ireland’s Crime Capitals”.

Dearbhail McDonald is Legal Editor of The Irish Independent and author of “Bust – How the
Courts have exposed the rotten heart of the Irish economy”

Bernie Grogan is the Case Officer at the Office of the Press Ombudsman.

Colman Candy is a media and technology lawyer who has advised national TV and radio stations, local radio, film producers, newspapers, website hosts, publishers, authors, actors, bloggers and journalists. He holds a LLM in Intellectual Property from UCD, and is a candidate on Harvard University’s ALM (Journalism) Programme.
