Datarock have an interesting spin on the music single for their latest release, Catcher in the Rye. The band are essentially selling a physical object that the single is bundled with. Interesting concept which other industries should watch. If consumers think information is free, then what are they prepared to pay for? Fans will get a 3 inch figurine, designed by Brian Flynn at Super 7, and a USB stick. The USB contains the new single, the new EP “California”, 1500 photos, a 60 minute concert film, 20 music videos and 105 bonus tracks.

I am looking forward to the new Lucozade ad, which will be released on Facebook on Friday 8 April. It features Katie Taylor and I think it’s a great move by Lucozade to sign her up as an ambassador. Here’s a preview of the ad.
