The comments on Youtube on this one are a lexicon of insults!
No wonder really.
Never mind doing a bad interview, its a shame that this type of celebrity gets any airtime at all.
Historically, you had to paint the roof of the Sistine Chapel or something equally meritorious to gain recognition in your lifetime.
Its hard to know where to begin examining the point where these carcrash personalities became something on the attention radar or something to aspire to, but it can’t be doing great things for book smarts and innovation.
Think I’m starting to side with China on the whole culture blockade thing.
Today I’ll be mostly wearing a black shirt.

That said Q, someone has pointed out to me that we’re all talking about her so maybe it wasn’t such a bad interview after all.
At face value that makes a certain degree of sense, if talk is the only thing you’re after.
It is also akin to the ‘no news is bad news’ idiom, and you must know, more than most, how painfully inaccurate that one is!
I know that ‘creating conversations’ has become something of buzz in the twitter era, and there’s a lot of intriguing writing on this in ‘Unmarketable’ by Anne Elizabeth Moore, and other studies of WOM marketing theory & practice. The net effect of this may be something different.
Move on past the stats graph, and I for one will certainly flip the channel next time I hear anything about her, because she managed to deliver nothing at all in 9 minutes.
I’d imagine viewers of her show can look forward to more of the same.
Having said all of that, in the event of Sarah Palin becoming President, you will have proved me wrong, for precisely the above reason!
